RMAF 50th Anniversary

This is the event to go to this year (if you're aircraft enthusiast like me).
I for one will make my "exodus" to Subang Airport tomorrow evening and meet-up with some of my Scale Modelling (read SCALE MODELLING, not those cute modeling) buddies. This will be a fun trip for us modeller.

Anyway as posted somewhere, here are the itenary of the event especially on the June 1st, 2008; since this is when the event are open for public. ohh and the admission is FREE...ZARO..NADA..ZIP..KOSONG :o)

Let give this a Blog another round of life!!

Ok.. since its been a whole 14 months with no update.. not i'll try to give this blog another breath of life in conjunction of my new website...

This Blog will be linked back to my website at http://kumanworks.110mb.com so that any thought /reply visitor have can be expressed here in relation to the stuff i put on display over at my site (BTW my site is a Scale Model site so expect some modelling jargon)

anyway i'll try to update as much as possible in here once i've updated my website as well..

Its been a while!!

BACK!!!!

Its been a while since i last update this blog... reallife commitments seems to always gets in the way of this blog ;) what to do...

i'll try my best to update this site at least twice a week with a few stuff about this Scale Modelling.. as an introduction now i have 2 projects going on for the Merdeka Group Build due in August 2007 (Malaysia's 50th Independence Day is at August 31, 2007) so i better be quick inorder to beat the deadline..

what i'll possibily try to bring in would be
1. TUDM MIG-29NUB (2 seater version )
2. TUDM SU-30MKM (Upcoming fighter which is due for their first arrival in May 2007)

--KITS--
what i'll be using would be the Academy 1/48 MIG-29UB and a MiniHobby 1/48 SU-27UB (for the SU-30MKM) of course a few convesion will be needed for this.

--DECALS--
I'll be using the decals from ScaleNutz since they ahve this TUDM MIG-29 decals that came with a bonus SU-30MKM marking for TUDM.

let see if i can update those in here in the coming weeks..

In Progress... Panzer IV Ausf H

ok.. my first ever tank in progress....
- Still learning to correctly do stuff with modelling kit
- This is a Academy 1/35 scale model kit and finishing using handbrush with Tamiya Arcylic Dark Yellow...
- i used 3 layer of paints
1 layer is the Surfacer
2nd layer - a very thin layer of Dark Yellow
3rd layer - another layer of Dark Yellow..
- a coat of FUTURE floor polish
-weathering using a new technique i learn from friends.... oil pastel + turpentine
