I think this is a must watch movie for Mecha/giant robot lovers.... got to see a mecha battling a Kaijo.

Last night while everyone else in Malaysia is busy watching the final episode of a cheeky drama series "Vanilla Cokelat", i was watching this movie in my "man-cave"...
It is a french adventure war movie, i usually will give a foreign language movie a miss but the premises of this movie makes me want to watch it (i'm a sucker for a war movie like this). This movie centers around a rescue mission to save a kidnapped French journalist from a "rogue-Taliban" extremist. (Remember that this is a foreign movie so please ignore the typical-bad-guy-from-Afghanistan-Taliban thing and enjoy the movie as it is).
I for one enjoyed the movie and the heroism portrayed by the Special Forces "could" bring a tears or two from the audience.
Go find the movie and watch it as it is.. and for any military-modeler-buff out there, you will be able to catch a glimpse of a few military hardware (not the typical US made) such as the NH-90 Helicopter, Tiger HAP helicopter, the Super Frelon, the Charles de Gaulle aircraft carrier and the Mirage 2000. I might missed a few but sure nice to see another hardware from another nation.
anyway, if you find a .mkv version; use VLC Media player to watch it :o)
After 2 years (Expendables 1 released in 2010) finally a sequel is coming out come this year August 17, 2012... cant wait... i watched the original and i believe the ex-governor or California is now is given a bigger role instead of a cameo appearance in the first movie... the trailer also not bad although i would expect to see more trailer coming soon as the release date comes closer...
So mark your calendar and start amassing funds for the ticket fees (as i think its not getting any cheaper) :o)
Call me late.... yes i admit i'm late at watching this movie... heck i really wish i was early in the line at the cinema when they first show this... but nooo..... i have to ignore this and thinking.."sure should be enough watching it on TV next Hari Raya"... but i was dead wrong......
I would say this is better than Transfomers: Dark of the Moon (maybe because in this movie there's only 1 star robot, ATOM).
As i was watching this movie a few minutes ago, i was at the edge of my computer-seat, abandoning my M8 Greyhound build and letting my air compressor running on empty... and also almost let my Gunze Surfacer dried ( i'm ready to primed my M-8 before i "accidently" switch on Real Steel).
The star of the movie have to be ATOM, and Max Kenton really brings the movie to live.... not forgetting Hugh Jackman & Evangeline Lily (famous from her LOST years and Martin Keamy from LOST also with her in this movie!!)
So, for those like me who is LATE.... go get it from your nearest VCD/DVD shop (where able possible buy original guys!) and enjoy the movie..... its a good movie for the whole family (except for maybe a short kissing scene on top of the Tallets' Gym) so now go watch it!!!

i wonder how the movie would be with all those stellar superheroes.. hopefully it would be awesome. Despite the review (when its release) i'm going to watch it in cinema near me for sure...

Last night while waiting for the decal to set on my KV-1 turret, i fired up my VLC Media Player for some movie and i saw this movie in my TO-RE-WATCH-LIST, so i did.
This is one of those movie that you need to watch a couple of times to really understand it (well for me at least) since the script is so brilliantly written for the movie. And to have both Kevin Spacey and Samuel L. Jackson in 1 movie is an instant watch for me.

For those that haven't watch the movie, now is the time to do so. It sure better than the recent Transformers III movie (although i still love TF3:DTM)
anyway... go find it on DVD somewhere.. although i doubt they still have it on the shelf..

Aku baru tengok movie kat atas tu semalam. Waktu aku mula tengok kat PC aku nih expectation aku tka berapa besar la sebab tengok pengarahnya pun dah membosankan Mr Uwe Boll yang memang terkenal dengan pengarahan yang merosakkan banyak filem franchais dari game-game yang best contohnya Alone in The Dark, BloodRayne dsbnya lah..
Tapi lepas aku tengok cerita Darfur nih.. memang sungguh menarik..
Jangan expect la cerita nih ada hero macam yang dah terbiasa kita tengok, gun blazing & lastly save the innocent life.
Ada satu trend yg mengusarkan aku Aidilfitri kali nih.. nih berkaitan movie yg disiarkan di TV... memang aku akui, Senario The Movie Episode 1 memang menghiburkan.. tapi kalau dah ditonton sampai 3-4 kali untuk 2 hari raya yang pertama nih; ia dah jadi lebih pada keterlaluan.
Yang aku perasan, malam 1 syawal ada sekali, and siang sayawal tu ada lagi pastu malam syawal pun ada lagi. Tapi ok la boleh bagi bebudak duduk dia sikit tengok Senario kat TV, boleh la parents layan tetamu yang datang beraya.
anyway... saja ja pemerhatian aku jer... ada lagi 2-3 cerita yg turun diulang tayang beberapa kali, maybe dah trend raya kot...

Anak-anak kat rumah semua dah booking nak tengok cerita ni kat panggung, cerita terakhir diorang tengok kat panggung dulu cerita Upin & Ipin: GENG (diorang jerit lagi sbb takut). So nampak gayanya weekend 23/09 tu terpaksa la booking tiket tengok Magika nih...
Para pelakon pun ramai yg best best and yg best sekali cerita nih Muzikal Filem.. ala macam cerita Hotel Mania kat TV tu... KRU boys gak yg produce kan...
memang ada kelainan, boleh la tengok PGL yg gemuk, Hang Tuah yg keding, Badang yg err... Mawi, Nabil yg Orang Minyak, M Nasir yg Penunggu Tasik Chini, Mahsuri yg Vanida Imran.. banyak lagi la... nampak mcm nak Box-Office...
Another surprise!!! .. mana la aku menghilang selama nih... the very obvious movie that MESTI tonton adalah THE EXPANDABLES. Aku ada pernah dengar the making of movie ni dulu tapi terus lupa, and tetiba hari ni bila aku bukak Youtube disuggest untuk aku tengok trailer nih, the reason of the suggestion is because aku tengok trailer Predators semalam.
Imagine, dalam 1 movie ada banyak hero yg best, ada Stallone, Jet Li, Jason Statham, Dolph Lungren, Arnold Schwarzenegger (sapa tak kenai), Bruce Willis, Mickey Rourke (Whiplash dalam Ironman2) and banyak lagi lah.. tengok kat HERE (wikipedia la) untuk detail.
Memang menarik, release date August 13, 2010 so mark your calendar. AKu dah mark dah pun.. kat kengkawan pun dah dihebahkan... tapi macam biasa aku selalunya akan tunggu 1-2 minggu sebelum aku p tengok movie.. sbb tak mau berebut beli tiket... itu story untuk lain kali... :D

Tergezut aku bila tengah browsing tetiba ternampak satu title movie yg nak release in July 2010 [b]PREDATORS[/B].
Pengarahnya Robert Rodriguez and dia siap claim lagi... "this is not an attempt to overshadow Arnold in the original predator, no one can top Arnold, but merely to open a new chapter in predator franchise"--> lebih kurang mcm tu le seingat aku..
Nampak mcm best judging from the trailer (err ada ke movie trailer yg tak best?).. will add this to the movie going list maybe after i watch M.Night's "The Last Air Bender" kot.
