I'm Jack Harper, I am Home... Oblivion movie review

"..year 2077.."
"... I am Jack Harper, I am home...."

the above phrase ends the 2 hours and 5 minutes of the movie Oblivion, and i enjoyed every 7500 seconds of the movie to the fullest (except for a few second where the Censorship "slip" a few R-rated scene of it, so dont bring your little ones to this movie else you're going to get some long explanation to do hehehe).

(Before i begin, this is my personal review of the movie.. others might have a different opinion )

Oblivion has to be the best movie i watched this year, never have expected it to be so engaging since a lot of people actually looking forward to the likes of Tony Stark in IronMan 3 (slate to be released in April 27, 2013) but not this movie.

I wasnt exactly have Oblivion in my to-watch-list movie, since my list already occupied by Elysium, Iron man 3, Pacific Rims but somehow yesterday got the urge to watch it.. so spent RM14 for the ticket... theater #3, Seat E10 (my fav seat).

Oblivion is a post-apocalyptic movie and it got some cliche reference to the rest of the "end of the world" movie previously, but this one adds a little twist somewhere in the story. Not going to spoil the fun to you guys.. just watch it.. :o) and

The Hobbit: An unexpected Journey - blows my mind....!!!

Finally got to watch this movie The Hobbit: An unexpected Journey .. a prequel to the Lords of he Ring SAGA....

i didnt watch it when it first release in cinema due to the fact that i "think" (or rather thought) that it would be a boring movie... well let me assure you that wasnt the case!!

It was full of action and laughter from the beginning till the end and makes me wanted for more and cant wait for the rest of the movie to be release later in the year 2013 (The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug) and year 2014 (The Hobbit: There and Back Again)

It follow the adventure of Bilbo Baggins and Gandalf with 12 Drawen into an adventure to take back the Lonely Mountain....

it is a long movie and i'm sure that will be an Extended Version coming out (as what happens in the LOTR Trilogy)...  in this movie you'll see some familiar faces like Gollum, Lord Elrond and of course Saruman The White.

So whoever havent watch this movie yet.. go and find it somewhere and watch it... and dont be late like me... how i regret not watching this movie in the big screen ...

got a lot of good movie this year such as Ironman 3 (May) and the Pacific Rim (July)

UP-Disney 3D Movie at RTM TV2

This a very old disney movie, animated movie from Pixar... and i just watched it an hour ago
shame on me!!

it was released May 29, 2009 and i only watched it ,,,again... an hour ago!!!

it is a good animation movie very funny and full of good stories for the young ones.

My only gripes about the movie is that the timing of the show.. it starts at 10pm and lasted for a full 2 hours to midnight... not a very good time for little ones to stay awake and watching movies..... although tomorrow is not a school day (ehh.. i forgot.. now is school holiday)... besides the point.....

Anyway... i never thought that the movie was going ot be this good.. the first 20 minutes the greatest moments of the movie... setting the pace of Mr Frediksen and his wife Ellie.. touching moments of a guy in their old age :(

This is a disney movie that everyone should watch... rent a dvd, find it ON DVD and watched it with the whole family... i dare you to laugh :D

Now watching ALCATRAZ.. a nice series (i think since its just the first episodes) but i think it got cancelled last May.. on well....

 the day for relaxing and minding our own business and not to put any stress onto ourself...
 but..

 NOOOO i have to go around watch this movie entitled SINISTER.. and it really spoilt my Sunday afternoon... and YES.. this movie need to be watch in a broad daylight with a spotlight pointed at you....

I would give this movie a 100 out of 10 stars if i'm not busy covering my eyes every time Ethan Hawke watched the Super 8 film in the movie... its just how scary movie should be done and please dont invite your kids to watch it with you (but its ok if you watch it with your friends at a Lunch Party.. i say lunch party ok... not Birthday Party)

The spoiler is out there in the Net since this is not a super new movie (its out in Malaysia Oct 18, 2012) and do expect to see soooo many censored my the Penapisan... watch it from other source.. its so worth it and can be the scariest movie in 2012....

now.. go watch it and dont you dare find more info in the internet since it WILL spoilt the story for you...

i gave this movie 100 out of 10 stars (because it scares me out of my pants.. and let me stress this.. i watch it in the "relaxing" sunday AFTERNOON.. dont dare to watch it in the night.. it will ruin your sleep for the whole week.. you have been warned!!)


My personal movie review of the film SINISTER...

Forces spéciales (Special Forces) - war is hell....

Last night while everyone else in Malaysia is busy watching the final episode of a cheeky drama series "Vanilla Cokelat", i was watching this movie in my "man-cave"...

It is a french adventure war movie, i usually will give a foreign language movie a miss but the premises of this movie makes me want to watch it (i'm a sucker for a war movie like this). This movie centers around a rescue mission to save a kidnapped French journalist from a "rogue-Taliban" extremist. (Remember that this is a foreign movie so please ignore the typical-bad-guy-from-Afghanistan-Taliban thing and enjoy the movie as it is).

I for one enjoyed the movie and the heroism portrayed by the Special Forces "could" bring a tears or two from the audience.

Go find the movie and watch it as it is.. and for any military-modeler-buff out there, you will be able to catch a glimpse of a few military hardware (not the typical US made) such as the NH-90 Helicopter, Tiger HAP helicopter, the Super Frelon, the Charles de Gaulle  aircraft carrier and the Mirage 2000. I might missed a few but sure nice to see another hardware from another nation.

anyway, if you find a .mkv version; use VLC Media player to watch it :o)

The Grey - An intense great movie!!

Once more into the fray,

An intense and a powerful thriller movie this is, i just finish watching it and i must recommend it to all..
The musical score (especially the ending piano) is very appropriate to the poem that have been the main drive for the main character John Ottway (Liam Neeson).

He survived a plane crash in the Alaskan wilderness and he must survived the wolf...

and dont forget to watch the after the ending credit ... :o)

Real Steel!!!! The Best Movie i watched!!!

 Call me late.... yes i admit i'm late at watching this movie... heck i really wish i was early in the line at the cinema when they first show this... but nooo..... i have to ignore this and thinking.."sure should be enough watching it on TV next Hari Raya"... but i was dead wrong......

 


I would say this is better than Transfomers: Dark of the Moon (maybe because in this movie there's only 1 star robot, ATOM).

As i was watching this movie a few minutes ago, i was at the edge of my computer-seat, abandoning my M8 Greyhound  build and letting my air compressor running on empty... and also almost let my Gunze Surfacer dried ( i'm ready to primed my M-8 before i "accidently" switch on Real Steel).

The star of the movie have to be ATOM, and Max Kenton really brings the movie to live.... not forgetting Hugh Jackman & Evangeline Lily (famous from her LOST years and Martin Keamy from LOST also with her in this movie!!) 

 So, for those like me who is LATE.... go get it from your nearest VCD/DVD shop (where able possible buy original guys!) and enjoy the movie..... its a good movie for the whole family (except for maybe a short kissing scene on top of the Tallets' Gym) so now go watch it!!!

Go already.....

The Negotiator (1998) - one of my favorite movie

Last night while waiting for the decal to set on my KV-1 turret, i fired up my VLC Media Player for some movie and i saw this movie in my TO-RE-WATCH-LIST, so i did.

This is one of those movie that you need to watch a couple of times to really understand it (well for me at least) since the script is so brilliantly written for the movie. And to have both Kevin Spacey and Samuel L. Jackson in 1 movie is an instant watch for me.

For those that haven't watch the movie, now is the time to do so. It sure better than the recent Transformers III movie (although i still love TF3:DTM)

anyway... go find it on DVD somewhere.. although i doubt they still have it on the shelf..

Darfur: Satu cerita yang mesti ditonton

Aku baru tengok movie kat atas tu semalam. Waktu aku mula tengok kat PC aku nih expectation aku tka berapa besar la sebab tengok pengarahnya pun dah membosankan Mr Uwe Boll yang memang terkenal dengan pengarahan yang merosakkan banyak filem franchais dari game-game yang best contohnya Alone in The Dark, BloodRayne dsbnya lah..

Tapi lepas aku tengok cerita Darfur nih.. memang sungguh menarik..

Jangan expect la cerita nih ada hero macam yang dah terbiasa kita tengok, gun blazing & lastly save the innocent life.
