Aku teruskan perjalanan ke Kuala Perlis, since aku takde GPS so aku ikut jer la "GPS tradisional", signboard and belasah...

sebelum masuk pekan Kangar, aku singgah kat Beseri. melawat MRSM Perlis (tempat aku "bertendang" selama 2 tahun). Nostalgia meruntun kalbu, ingat zaman "kanak-kanak baru nak besaq" masa kat sini. Anak-anak pun sibuk dok tanya tempat apa nih. So sepanjang jalan ke Kuala Perlis, semua kisah dalam kereta berkisar tentang "Apa abah buat kat situ..etc"



"abah belajaq apa kat situ?" "syok tak?" "kakak pun nak mai belajaq sini la" "Bukit Gondol kat belakang tu ada hantu tak?" "Abah dulu mesti pandai, sebab tu belajar sini" "MRSM Beseri tu apa pulak? Beseri tu "berseri-seri ka?" "ayek nok aje r-sem ne agu.." - adik nak belajar MRSM ni jugak "Abah dok lari kat padang tu tak?" "Pak Guard kenai abah tak?"

dan ada la lagi 2-3 puluh soalan yg diulang ulang.. (anak-anak heheheh).

Sampai Kuala Perlis, ikut jer signboard yg menunjukkan ke arah "Jeti Feri Langkawi", sampai la jumpa Hotel Putra Brasmana, and parking je kat tepi tepi tu and pilih kedai mana nak makan.

AKu sampai sana lebih kurang jam 6:45pm, just nice to see the show!!!

Carik meja yg open air and bebetul kat tepi gig air tu, and menikmati pemandangan Senjakala yg PALING BEST pernah aku tengok, dengan berlatarbelakangkan Pulau Langkawi... memang la aku mengagumi ciptaan Yang Esa... teramat indah...

Sambil tu order makanan dinner, antaranya yg paling best Siakap 3-Rasa. 1 ekor ikan yg besar reganya RM49 untuk 7 org makan (4 adults, 3 bebudak).. memang manis betul isinya... and total RM79...(yg aku rasa berbaloi-baloi)



lebih kurang jam 8:30pm aku bertolak balik, terus ja naik Highway Changlun- Kuala Perlis and keluar balik kat Bandar Changlun and naik PLUS.

On the way back tu singgah kat R&R Gurun untuk recharge "kecergasan" dengan solat & 1 mug besar NESCAFE kaw!! sambung drive balik..

Sampai ke teratak aku jam 11:45pm maka lengkaplah perjalanan 12 Jam aku ke Perlis...

memang berbaloi and anak-anak aku ajak p lagi... diroang nak ke Wang Klian, Bukit Jernih (Gua Kelam) and Tasik Melati pulak in next trip.... aku ok jer... nnt bila cuti sekolah kita p lagi ek.. :D

p/s: Hilang rasa penat tengok anak-anak suka and appreciate the trip....

12 jam di Perlis - Padang Besar

12 Jam Di Perlis Indera Kayangan...




Jam 12:50 - bermula dari Seberang Jaya, aku terus shoot ke Padang Besar dan mengikuti speed limit PLUS (tak mau kena saman ekoq lak nanti). Jalan ke Utara clear.. tapi yg sebelah sana nak ke Selatan kereta dah bertali arus...


Ingat nak stop kat R&R Gurun untuk solat zohor tapi ntah camne terlepas exit ke R&R, so terus je ke Padang Besar and solat kat di Padang Besar.

Aku guna jalan yg straight forward, dari PLUS exit Tol Hutan Kampung (RM13.00), pastu bayar tol Jitra (RM1.60).


Akan lalu kat sini and now dah officially aku kembali ke Perlis lepas 18 tahun aku tak pernah masuk perlis (sejak abis tingkatan 5)

Lalu kat Changlun and naik ke Lebuhraya Changlun-Kuala Perlis. Tapi kena ingat untuk exit ke arah Padang Besar/Chuping and akan lalu depan kampus tetap UniMap (Universiti Malaysia Perlis, yg banyak still dalam pembinaan).


Jangan lupa tengok la ladang tebu yang saujana mata memandang... memang luas. nasib baik cuaca pun elok so gambar pun elok juga. Aku ada ternampka signboard kata kat Chuping nih suhu terpanas dalam sekitar 40.1 degree C, memang panas!!.


Sampai kat Padang Besar dalam jam 3:30, lepas solat, cari Bazaar Padang Besar. Punya la banyak kereta (bayar parking RM2)aku end-up parking jauh jugak le kena menapak sikit.


Ni dalam Bazaar tu, memang banyak bargain especially kalau yg nak carik Jersi bola & baju berjenama Polo & Ralph Lauren. Aku beli gak satu RM28 (rega asal RM38) alang-alang dah sampai kan. Anak2 lak sibuk dok pilih mainan memang pelbagai sampai tak tau apa diorang nak.

Wife lak beli satu Purse jenama Bonia ka Polo ntah.. RM25 lepas bargain-bargain dari RM40!!

Jam 5:30, semua orang dah merenggek-renggek lapar, so bergerak la ke Kuala Perlis ikut jalan Kaki Bukit.

Sebelum tu singgah kejap kat Burung Kasawari santuary...

Hari cuti.. masa untuk open house aidilfitri

Selamat Bercuti semua..

hari nih semua orang cuti lagi satu hari... so as usual lepas aidilfitri nih semua orang buat open house... aku pun ada undangan open house gak hari nih.. start jam 11am karang.. so mari lah berkunjung beramai-ramai...

ada office mate buat open-house, anak2 pun dah excited nak p open house...

time untuk aku nak bersiram kejap....

insyallah nnt aku snap sikit gambor Open House..

and esok Jumaat aku cuti lagi.. nampaknya mmg long weekend la untuk aku.. hahha

Kopi Luwak HARAM!!!

KOPI LUWAK HARAM!!!

Dalam berita 2-3 hari lepas aku terdengar mengenai pengharaman Kopi Luwak oleh

Kalau tak salah aku Majlis Agama Islam Malaysia ada mengatakan yg Kopi Luwak nih haram di malaysia, so ada konflik kat situ.

Pada aku la kan (aku yg tak berapa pandai nih), memang wajar pun diharamkan kat Malaysia nih.. dah ler mahai and macam la takde dah kopi lain nak minum :ketawa:...

hiii tak sanggup aku minum kopi najis musang nih... dalam Berita pun ada tunjuk process pembuatannya.. memang memualkan tulang sum-sum aku..

tak tau la kalau ada orang yg sanggup minum kopi nih...

aku akan still maintain ngan kopi kampung yg aku beli kat pakcik kat pasar malam nih.. siap boleh goreng and mesin kat situ lagi.. fresh... nasib biak kat pasar malam tu takde pokok kopi jer.. kalau ada sure dia "menuai" biji kopi kat situ gak :ketawa besar:

tak pun try Kopi Incredible Hulk yg aku dah try..

so buat lah pertimbangan yg waras.... asal nama tahi yang keluar dari bahagian belakang apa pun mmg aku akan hindari ...:D

KOPI INCREDIBLE HULK!!!

arghhhh!!!.. terbayang watak Lou Ferrigno dalak "Hulk" tahun 70'an tu!!

Aku nih penggemar kopi sedunia.. (dan walaupun bulan Ramadhan yg lepas, aku berjaya maintain cuma 2 mug kopi sepanjang bulan puasa.. pergh!! satu pencapaian yg memberangsangkan bagi aku yg aku rasa dah "caffeine" addict.. tapi still manageable)... still aku suka ngan kopi nih..

Sebelum bulan posa ari tu, aku di"introduce"kan oleh adik aku satu lagi kopi jenama HPA (aku bukan nak promote, saja nak share ajer ek, jgn salah paham).




Ni rupanya, ada nampak warna kehijauan kat buih dia tu? sebab tu la aku panggil dia Kopi Incredible Hulk, :hehehehe: logik la kan...

Bercakap tentang rasanya pulak, memang best walaupun ada sedikit rasa ke"spirulina"annya yg mungkin setengah org tak berapa gemaq (suka). Bagi aku ok jer, rasa la lain sikit dari kopi lain yg aku dok minum sebelum nih.

apa2 pun still tak leh lawan rasa kopi kampung... tapi jangan bagi kat aku Kopi Luwak (next entry aku cite pasai pa) dah ler

Berbuka di Pan Mutiara Taman Selat

Hari sabtu geng-geng VIOS07 buat majlis berbuka kat Restoran Pan Mutiara Taman Selat B'worth branch..



RM25 satu kepala, kalau bawak bebudak kira ok la kot bleh cover cover.. bebudak tak makan banyak pun.

Kari Kepala Ikan memang best kat sini.

Semuanya total 10 orang and rasanya ada dalam 9 biji VIOS.
Kat kedai ni kalau nak makan, order aja Kari Kepala Ikan, yg lain ikut kata pengunung setia ..kureng sikit.. tapi boleh la makan..

pada aku la... Kari Kepala Ikan diorang tu no 2 ler, no 1 "TER"best tentunya Kari yg mak kita buat sendiri.. betoi? haaa

ni gambar kari yg dimaksudkan + gambar depan kedai tu..






so sila la berkunjung kalau nk makan Kari Kepala Ikan yg no 2 best.. ehhehe

ooo lupa... on a healthy note, lepas makan kari nih jangan lupa bebanyakkanlah berjoging :))

Mee Kampung Pek, Kota Bharu

Tengah browse collection gambar-gambar kat PC, tetiba terjumpa la gambar mee nih... dah lama gak la tapi saja nak share kat sini (rasanya October 24, 2008)..

Rasanya kedai tu stilla da kat KB and tak sure la pulak nih cawangan yg ke berapa sebab kalau nak ikut cerita org yg kedai utamanya di Machang.

tapi memang sedap... sepanjang dok makan Mee Hailam dan Bihun Tomyam, yg diorang nih la yg paling BEST!!!..

so sesapa yg nak ke KB, Kelantan.. carik la kedai nih.. Mee Kampung Pek. Lupa lak camno nak cari kat internet

anyway ni makanannya..


So sesapa yg nak ke sana cuba la carik, aku pun nak ke sana jugak sbb ada org nak borong tudung kat Wakaf Che Yeh!!!.. tpai maybe bulan 11-12 nnt kot...

Restoran Nelayan Kuala Juru

Last sunday, we traveled to a place near Juru Autocity for a quick bite or early dinner (since its still 4:30pm) just somewhere to bring my daughter to eat something different.

We've been to this restaurant a few times already, so last sunday i didnt take any new photo so the photo you see here is already around 12-16 months old..

but the food and surrounding still the same... you still got to see fisherman come and go on their boat just right until the sun is about to set.

Their signboard, as of last sunday, is really faded already and you cant read it properly since most of the words are gone, so the above picture would be the best to see the name of the restaurant.

We ordered a few dish mainly my favorite (at this restaurant) Nasi Goreng Ketam (which this time of the year, the crab is so expensive which net me RM11 per plate).


and the view from this restaurant is just very scenic..



Will visit them again in the near future...

p/s: somehow i think i already talk about this place before... hahaha

5 Best Drinks To Keep You Going Through The Night

i was browsing for some article related to Coffee and Apples when i "accidently" click on the this link entitled "5 best Drinks to Keep You Going.."

I find it useful for people who need to stay up all night doing their hobby etc.
Like me for example, where i only got to do my Scale Modelling Hobby during the wee hours of the night since that is the best time i got to enjoy building my models.

But personally going through the list i found that coffee can no longer can keep me awake... maybe due to the facts that my system is pretty much saturated with caffeine thus rendering introducing more caffeine into the system ineffective (eventhough i only consume caffeine related drinks once a day, in the morning, in the office).

Coke also of no use to me, i think the last time i consume a bottle of coke is a a friends house months ago.. so not going to start having some so soon and the thought of drinking it in the middle of the night might in turn be bad for the teeth :lol:

Going down the list, i think at the end a bottle of Mineral water is what works for me during the midnight hours... but of course need to have a steady supply of it else for sure will fall asleep like nobody business....

Let see if i can convince some of my friends to at least try to have mineral water during their modelling session since i know most of them is a part time hobbyist like me......

Eat those Oats:Muesli Biscuits

Grocery shopping yesterday, and see this new biscuits on the shelf.
Since the biscuits that i normally have at home (which if from another kind) is about to expired (why i buy a close to expiry date thing is another story); i thought i give this a try.

Upon tasting the biscuit, i fall in love with the taste. Full with those "muesli" stuff + oats etc and very filling i must add. In the big package they have 10 individually pack biscuit (which i think a trend that need to be standardize for ease of handling); very convenience indeed.

But the problem is, i cant stop at just 1 pack... last nite alone i end up eating 4 packs in 1 sitting, maybe i was hungry due to an early dinner of Laksa i have earlier or maybe i just trying to stay awake at 12am after a session of Dragon Age Origins (DAO). And speaking of DAO; last nite only a short session due to the extreme sleepiness that i literally doze of infront of the monitor (i guess the 4 packs of biscuits didnt help me stay awake at all) :lol:

anyway, try this biscuit and share your thought.

Supplimentary diet

again .. its been awhile...



i just took my Health screening result last week.

it seems that my bad cholestrol level is still at the same level as the last time....

this is not good.... so the doctor suggested me to take this supplementary Omega-3 pills.



So i went on and bought myself a bottle of 60-capsules Omega-3 pills under the brand Seven-Sea (IIRC).. and i have to take 2 pills once a day...



also i have to double my exercise "dosage" in order to control this bad cholesterol thing... hmmm



and also i thik i need to try this Quaker Oat thing that they claimed can reduce this bad cholesterol also.... i really hoping they are right.. :D



did some "Googling" on the subject.. some say this Bad Cholesterol is a myth... let me read through all the article and then i''ll make my stand... but again this is about my health so there's nothing wrong in trying to improve (decrease) the
