It came from the email: Facts about Your Farts

It Came From the Email: Facts about Your Farts

Its been a while since i last update this "series" , so this is the latest entry.
i dont know if the photo below is readable but hopefully it is as it is choke-full of facts about your farts.

and one interesting thing i can pull from it is that we (average person) will fart around 14 times/day... man that is a lot of farts.. the number will increase if you ate a lot of beans on the night before that.. so be careful guys and read it from the image for more facts..

now that you know...

5 Best Drinks to keep you going..

5 Best Drinks To Keep You Going Through The Night

i was browsing for some article related to Coffee and Apples when i "accidently" click on the this link entitled "5 best Drinks to Keep You Going.."

I find it useful for people who need to stay up all night doing their hobby etc.
Like me for example, where i only got to do my Scale Modelling Hobby during the wee hours of the night since that is the best time i got to enjoy building my models.

But personally going through the list i found that coffee can no longer can keep me awake... maybe due to the facts that my system is pretty much saturated with caffeine thus rendering introducing more caffeine into the system ineffective (eventhough i only consume caffeine related drinks once a day, in the morning, in the office).

Coke also of no use to me, i think the last time i consume a bottle of coke is a a friends house months ago.. so not going to start having some so soon and the thought of drinking it in the middle of the night might in turn be bad for the teeth

Going down the list, i think at the end a bottle of Mineral water is what works for me during the midnight hours... but of course need to have a steady supply of it else for sure will fall asleep like nobody business....

Let see if i can convince some of my friends to at least try to have mineral water during their modelling session since i know most of them is a part time hobbyist like me......

Tools for Decalling...

Tools for decals...

As i promised in yesterday's post.
Here are the "solution" i used in the steps...

These pictures i get from the internet.

Gunze Mr Mark Softer

Basically, i use this to make the decal "softer" so that it will set in the recess panel lines on the plane body. But have to be very careful, since the decal will be really soft, so have to be careful if you use brush to apply the FUTURE (see below) since it might drag the decal along with the brush stroke and believe me... you dont want that to happen... i know...

Gunze Mr Mark Setter

As the name said, this is to make the decal "bite" into theFuture surface that we applied prior to applying decals. When using this the surface will turn slight "whiteish" this is normal it will go away once you use Mr Softer and then the Future. It will go away.

Johnson "Future"

Ingenious way to use thos Floor finish product on models. Details of this product can be found in other place :o). But this is what i use as the surface finishing prior to applying decals and also as a mean to "seal" the decal on the surface. This can be applied with brush / airbrushed on.. but with the later i have less success with it, maybe i need to practise more.. :o)

that's a brief explaination... for more details, google is your friend....

enjoy..

F-16C Aggressor (Decal)

F-16C Aggressor (Decal Process)

Another round of updates!! this time decal..

i saw that this is going to be a problem for me..
since 2bobs decided to use multiple layer decal-style....
they even have 3 layers of decal to be place on-top one another (backing - decal - another decal) which i'll show much later on..

but first to test the decal i try on the tail fin.. this side only have 2 layers..

so this is how i do it.. hopefully its the right way..

1. prep the surface with Future (as normal)
2. when dry, i put Mr Setter.
3. Put the decal (of course after soaking it with warm water)
4. use Mr Softer.
5. gently use future on top of the decal to set it in place and let dry in preparation of the next decal layer.
6. when the first decal is set (the future dried), i put my setter again.
7. repeat step 1 - 5.

so the result as follows...

in the next updates, i'll show the Mr Softer, Mr Setter and Future for reference..
enjoy!!

Secondhand Serenade - Like a Knife

Someone suggested me to listed to this song and i did and loving it..

Its from their album titled "A Twist in My Story" Track #1. A very nice song indeed
Follow the link to youtube for the live-video-version of the song.
ENJOY!!!

I did a lot, I know you say
I've got to get away.
"The world is not yours for the taking"
Is all you ever say.

I know I'm not the best for you,
But promise that you'll stay.
'Cause if I watch you go,You'll see me wasting, you'll see me wasting away

'Cause today, you walked out of my life
'Cause today, your words felt like a knife
I'm not living this life.

Goodbyes are meant for lonely people standing in the rain
And no matter where I go it's always pouring all the same.
These streets are filled with memories
Both good for detected pain
And all I wanna do is love you
But I'm the only one to blame.

'Cause today, you walked out of my life
'Cause today, your words felt like a knife
I'm not living this life.

But what do I know, if you're leaving
All you did was stop the bleeding.
But these scars will stay forever,
These scars will stay forever
And these words have no meaning
If we cannot find the feeling
That we held on to together
Try your hardest to remember

Stay with me,Or watch me bleed,
I need you just to breathe.
'Cause today, you walked out of my life
(stay with me, or watch me bleed)
'Cause today, your words felt like a knife
(i need you just to breathe.)
I'm not living this life
