Finally i'm able to post this build in here.
Its completed about the same time as my A-10 ( Click me- A-10 Thunderbolt) for the Post.
A mini WIP can be found Mini WIP post.
again this is Trumpeter 1/48 Seahawk FGA MK6 kit and a review can be viewed at www.cybermodeler.com/ Review
a superb kit but my skill is not that great.. thus the simple oob build by me.. :)
also noted that on my first attempt i try to mask all the Suez markings on the plane it failed miserably... so i end-up using the decal marking and it works like a dream.... i conform really well to the lines (with the help of Mr Setter & Mr Softer)... and it turn out really well...
The panel lines i used the Tamiya Panel Line accent color and this is my first time using that stuff... works well + i also use the Promodeller Dark wash.
Weathering is kept to the minimum as thats why a little glossy still visible on all of my build (except for my A-10 where the glossy is unbearable.. working on the fix now :)
I always loved a wing-fold aircraft.. so that is why i make it that way with this build... and especially since the wing fold is included in teh kit and i got to safe some space in my display cabinet..
So enjoy the photo and please come back for more of my "newbie" build.... coming up on my workbench
- Panda F-35
- Zhengdefu EF-111 "Spark-vark"

Trumpeter Seahawk FGA MK6 - decal (WIP 2)
its been a while..
Follow-up on my WIP 1 on this Trumpeter Seahawk FGA MK6
moving on with the build and finally manage to complete the decal process... and i end-up have to remove my earlier painting of the Invasion Stripes due to the dimension is out of specs... and i end-up using the decal for the stripes on the wings...
I really wish i did that much sooner (using the decal on the wings) since it just fit nicely to the wings and sure save me from the hassle of masking it .. anyway its done and i'm really glad.
So after the decal i move on doing a panel wash with Promodeller Dark... and the effect is really nice.. and this is the first time that i use Promodeller Dark wash on the whole aircraft.
The result as as follows...
Next.. will need to clear coat and touch-up with some weathering...
Hopefully my next post this Trumpeter Seahawk FGA MK6 is done and ready for the event in June 15, 2013...
until later..
for now i'm off to my Department Dinner @ The Manhattan Fish Market....

Trumpeter 1/48 Seahawk FGA MK6 - WIP (1)
Its been a while since i last post any of my scale models in my blog. Not that i've stop building, but rather been busy to actually put any progress here.
Now i have 2 consecutive build on the bench and both are due in June 2013, so here is the first lot of the 2. the Trumpeter 1/48 Seahawk FGA MK6 aircraft.
The build is straight forward just with an occasional issue i always have with the seam-lines on the side of the fuselage. A little putty and sanding clean it up pretty nicely.
I'll be doing this in a Sues Campaign 1956 scheme for the 810 Sqn on board the HMS Albion.
Primed and ready for the pain booth and i'll will build this with its wing folded. To save some space in my display cabinet :)
The kit supplied the Suez stripes for the Seahawk as a decal but i'm being a modeler that i am like to make thing hard for myself... so i decided to mask the stripes and airbrush them one by one..
See below..for more..
