"Gutless" F7U Cutlass - bling-bling version WIP

Today update with related to my hobby for a change.. its been a while i updated something which is related to modelling..

This time around i'm doing the short lived Chance Vought F7U Cutlass in Natural Metal Finish (hence the bling-bling version)

After treatment with Mr Surfacer 1000 and painting the leading edge red

Before painting the Natural Metal color, need to prepare the base color with gloss black so that the resulted NMF finishing would be shinier and glossier... will show the effect in a bit.

After 2 layers of Tamiya X-11 Chrome Silver, this are the result.... and noted that this is my first time playing with this elusive chrome paint..

i expected it to be more bling-bling.. have to wait for another layer or so...
if given a choice i would get the Aclad Silver but time requires me to test this paint... so far so good..
